JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Nicole Cherok placed 23rd in the semifinals of the 2012 NCAA East Regional in the 400m hurdles.

Cherok crossed with a time of 1:00.67. The top 12 runners advanced to the NCAA to the NCAA Championship in Des Moines, Iowa.

In the event's opening round, Cherok finished 23rd in a field of 48 runners with a personal best and school record time of 59.57.
