HARMAR, Pa. - The Duquesne women's tennis team chalked up its fifth straight victory on Saturday afternoon after a 7-0 shutout win over Wright State at Alpha Fitness and Tennis of Pittsburgh.

The Dukes (8-6) cruised through the doubles point and only dropped two sets in while winning all six matches.

The highlight of the singles matches was at the #6 spot as Tara Majdalani pulled out a victory after dropping the first set 6-3 and being down 4-1 in the second set, which including fighting off a match point. Majdalani' s comeback resulted in winning the tiebreaker and then taking the third and decisive set 6-2.

The Dukes hit the road for a pair matches this upcoming weekend - Mar. 16 at Detroit and Mar. 17 at Toledo.
