FCS ADA Academic Progress Rate (APR) Award Winners
PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne football team will be honored for posting the greatest single-year Academic Progress Rate score improvement among Northeast Conference schools by the FCS Athletics Directors Association in conjunction with the FCS ADA scholarship luncheon at NACDA on June 16.
The football program, which has a multi-year rate of 966, improved from 935 last year to 979 in the latest APR report released on May 24. The 979 is well above the 2009-10 single-year average of 947.
This is the second year the FCS ADA has honored football programs for APR performance.
