MONROEVILLE, Pa. - The Duquesne women's tennis team splits its matches this past weekend. The Dukes fell to Toledo 6-1 before defeating Bucknell 5-2.
On Friday evening, DU hosted Toledo. Judi Li won the lone point for the Dukes.
On Saturday morning, the Dukes defeated Bucknell. This is the fourth time in five tries that Duquesne has won against the Bison.
The Dukes swept the double point, dropping only seven games in the three matches.
Duquesne won four of the six singles points with Samantha Noble, Megan O'Sullivan, Li and Tara Majdalani each picking up wins.
The Dukes (1-3) hit the road to open up Atlantic 10 Conference play with a Friday evening match against St. Bonaventure.
