Raleigh Relays / Western Pa. Championships

Duquesne's women's track and field team opened the outdoor season by traveling to North Carolina for the Raleigh Relays and to Caifornia, Pa. for the Western Pa. Championships. The runners and jumpers went to Raleigh while the throwers competed at Cal-PA.

The 4x400 relay team of Nicole Cherok, Kristin Wenthen, Nicole McKeone and Melissa Miller set a school record and set an ECAC Championship qualifying time with a time of 3:49.05.

Katie Kelly set a personal best time and also qualified for ECAC's with a time of 10:42.23 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.

The Dukes return to action on Friday, April 2 as they compete in the two-day Duke Invitational.
