Dukes Turn in Good Outing at Bucknell Team Challenge

Duquesne's men's track and field team competed in the Bucknell Team Challenge Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa. Eight individuals and two relays improved their top times/distances of the season.

Junior Josh Eddy placed second in the 3,000 meter run with a school record time of 8:37.93. He was followed by Scott Van Kooten who placed third with a time of 8:43.14.

Cedric Love improved his time in the 400 meter run with a 49.52 while all three participants in the 400 hurdles turned in top times as Aaron Fitzpatrick finished in 56.95, Justin Honigman ran a 58.16 and Billy Paull ran a 1:00.17.

Kyle Reeping turned in DU's best time of the season in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 4:00.61 while Alex Federinko turned in a long jump of 19-05.25.

The 4x100 and 4x400 relays also improved.

The Dukes return to action on Thursday, April 24 as they compete in the two-day Penn Relays.
