LEWISBURG - Less than 24 hours after opening their Spring 2008 season with a 7-0 shutout of Bloomsburg, the Duquesne women's tennis team defeated Bucknell 6-1 Sunday afternoon at the West Branch Tennis Club.
The "even numbered" spring season have been good to head coach Joe Camillo as the Dukes have come out of the gates 2-0 in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008.
DU takes on the first of three Big East schools on their schedule Fri. Feb. 8 as they host Georgetown at the Club 4 Life in Monroeville.
