Charlotte, N.C. - Duquesne brought home two medals at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Track & Field Championship in Charlotte, N.C. The Dukes finished in ninth place in the 12-team field scoring 46.5 points, just three points shy of seventh-place Dayton.
Melissa Stewart's took silver with a throw of 44-6 in the shot put. Stewart finishes her Duquesne career winning four medals in the A-10 Championship competition.
Brianne Scott's time of 10:50.00 in the 3000 meter steeplechase won her the silver medal. This was Scott's second A-10 Championship medal.
The 4x100 team of Shonte Cook, Melissa Miller, Ashley Earnest and Erica Moody set a new DU record with a time of 48.78.
Charlotte finished in first place followed by Richmond and Rhode Island.
