GAINESVILLE - Melissa Stewart and Brianne Scott represented Duquesne in the 26th annual 2007 NCAA East Regional Outdoor Track & Field Champions Saturday night. The event was held at Percy Beard Track and Field on the campus of the University of Florida.

Stewart advanced to the final round of the discus event. Her throw of 158-04 (48.25m) in preliminary round of the discus was ninth best overall in a field of 30 throwers.

Scott represented the Red & Blue in the 3000 meter steeplechase. She crossed in 11:18.96, which was the fourth fastest time in DU history.
