INDIANA, Pa. - Melissa Stewart and Valerie Hahn represented Duquesne at the IUP Open Saturday afternoon. Stewart had another tremendous showing by winning two events and taking third in another.

Stewart just missed breaking her school record of 160-9 in the discus with her season-best throw of 159-7.25. She also placed first in the shot put with a distance of 41-6.75. Her hammer throw of 140-5 was third best in a field of eight.

Hahn placed 11th in the javelin with a throw of 96-11.50 and ninth in the discus (107-2.25).
