Philadelphia, Pa. - The Duquesne women's outdoor track and field team was entered in just one event on Friday's Penn Relays' schedule. In the triple jump, senior Kristen Micsky's leap of 11.57 meters, or 37 feet, 11.5 inches, was good for eighth place in the 30-athlete competition.

Yesterday, Micsky was a member of DU's first place 4 x 400 Meter Relay Team that set a new school record of 3:53.32 in its heat.

Saturday is the final day of competition at the 2005 Penn Relays however no Duquesne athletes are scheduled for these events.

The Dukes are back in action next weekend in Richmond, Va. in the two-day Atlantic 10 Championships beginning Saturday May 7, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at Sports Backers Stadium.

Richmond is also hosting the A-10 lacrosse championships next weekend. The Dukes are among the four teams that have clinched playoff berths. The first semifinal begins on Friday, May 6th at 5:00 p.m. at UR Stadium.
