Football Awards Continue to Roll In

Senior defensive end Antoine Bullock (Houston, Texas/Sugar Land Kempner) added to his impressive list of post-season All-America honors by being named to the Associated Press I-AA All-America and Don Hansen's Football Gazette I-AA Mid-Major All-America teams announced yesterday.

Bullock, who was named to the second team by the AP, joins Joe Rosato (1966 third team), Matt Fisher (1998 third team) and Leigh Bodden (2001 third team & 2002 second team) as Duquesne's Associated Press I-AA All-Americans.

Bullock, who led Duquesne's top-ranked defense with 12.0 sacks, was also named I-AA Mid-Major Defensive Lineman of the Year by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

Three other members of the DU defense joined Bullock on the Don Hansen first team including senior defensive end Josh Antinopoulos (Monaca, Pa./Monaca), senior linebacker Harry Carter (Lanham, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) and senior cornerback Michael Ford (Clinton, Md./Oxon Hill).

Ford, who led Duquesne with five interceptions and 13 passes broken up, was named Hansen's Defensive Back of the Year.

A fifth Duke, junior safety Kyle Postell, was named honorable mention All-America by Don Hansen.
