Lewisburg, Pa. - Duquesne University's women's indoor tack and field team captured second place at the Bucknell Heptagonal, Saturday at Gerhard Fieldhouse.

Amy Ruffolo captured the gold in the mile run with a time of 5:15.70 and Samantha Howard's 10:13.31 won the 3,000 meter race. The Dukes also won the 4 x 400 meter relay finishing 16 seconds ahead of second place St. Francis (PA) with a time of 9:43.96.

Duquesne returns to action on Friday, January 28th when they complete in the Penn State Open in State College, Pa.
