Six Duquesne Dukes competed in three events March 6-7 at the ECAC Championships. Representing Duquesne was Shea McMillian (triple jump), Tara Gerlach (1,000 meter) and the 4 x 800 meter relay team - Michelle Flynn, Liz Graham, Alison Buchanan, Elena Resovich.

McMillan led the way taking 13th in the finals of the triple jump with her distance of 37' 5.75". The 4 x 800 meter relay team crossed 15th in the preliminary heat with a time of 9:18.83 while Gerlach finished 17th in the 1,000 meter preliminaries with her time of 2:56.89.

Gerlach's time set a new University record in the 1,000 meter breaking the previous mark of 2:57.08 set back in February of 2002.
