Dukes Stay Undefeated With 4-3 Win Over Buffalo

Duquesne University's women's tennis team continued their undefeated effort with a 4-3 win over Buffalo on Sunday at the Oxford Athletic Club in Monroeville, Pa. The Dukes are now 6-0 this season and 2-0 in their spring schedule.

Duquesne took three singles matches with wins by junior Sarah Shanahan and freshmen Jackie Hughes and Alicia McNamara. The doubles competition decided the match as DU got victories from the team of senior Alina Klinova and junior Julie Wagner along with the Shanahan and Ciara McDermott duo.

The Dukes continue their home stand on Thur. Feb. 19 when St. John's will come to western Pennsylvania.
