Duquesne University junior linebacker Javonn Bradley (Rochester, Pa. / Rochester) was named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Football League co-Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Dukes' 34-8 win at Saint Peter's on Saturday.
Bradley, who ranks third on the Dukes with 42 total tackles, posted seven stops including a game-high four tackles for loss in helping the Dukes to their 31st consecutive MAAC win. Bradley also intercepted a third quarter pass and returned it 29 yards for a score to give the Dukes a 27-8 lead.
Bradley is the eighth different Duquesne player to be honored by the league in the seven weeks MAAC awards have been handed out.
Duquesne (4-2, 2-0) is off this weekend before taking on Marist in a Homecoming matchup on Saturday, Oct. 30.
