Duquesne's Kristen Micsky (Greenville, Pa./Reynolds) has been named the Atlantic 10 and ECAC Track & Field Co-Performer of the Week as announced by the league office. It is her first citation for both the A-10 and ECAC this season.
Micsky helped lead the Dukes to a second place finish at the Akron Quadrangular taking first in the long jump and second in the triple jump. Her distance of 19' 1.25" set a new Duquesne long jump record, stands first in the Atlantic 10 and is an ECAC qualifying mark. Micsky posted a 37' 9.50" performance in the triple jump and also took fifth in the high jump with her height of 5' 3.00".
Duquesne travels to the Baldwin Wallace Invitational this Saturday, April 26 before heading to the Atlantic 10 Championships May 3-4 at Richmond.
