Dukes Fall to Pitt 4-3

Duquesne women's tennis lost a close 4-3 match to Pitt Friday afternoon. The match was played at the Western Area YMCA due to poor weather predictions.

The Dukes won the doubles point taking No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, but fell short in tiebreakers in singles play for the loss. Katie Riedinger went 2-0 winning at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles to lead the Red & Blue.

The loss puts Duquesne at 5-9 on the Spring season. Duquesne is scheduled to face Marshall on WVU's campus this Tuesday followed by the 2003 Atlantic 10 Championships Thursday - Saturday at The Tennis Center at College Park.
