The lacrosse team won its Atlantic 10 opener with an 11-9 victory at George Washington.

Becca West led the Dukes with three goals while Ginger Flocco added two goals and two assists. Sarah Pacini went the distance in goal and made 10 saves.

The Dukes return to action tomorrow as they travel to Richmond for a noon contest.
