Duquesne Unversity has held the top spot in The Sports Network I-AA Mid-Major Top 10 since Sept. 30 and is in position to win its fourth consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Football League title.

- Is one of three remaining undefeated teams at the I-AA level along with Montana and Bethune-Cookman.
- Has won 22 consecutive MAAC Football League games by an average score of 42-10.
- Has outscored MAAC opponents by a 235-27 margin this season (6-0).
- Needs a victory either at Canisius (Nov. 9) or vs. Farifield (Nov. 16) to clinch its unprecedented fourth consecutive league title.
- Owns non-conference wins over Bucknell (35-14) and Lafayette (23-22) of the Patriot League and at then-No.1 Dayton (35-28) of the Pioneer Football League.
- Has the top ranked defense in I-AA -- No. 1 in total defense and No. 2 in scoring defense, pass defense and pass efficiency defense and No. 3 in rushing defense.
