Following its 14-3 win at St. Peter's on Saturday, the football team finds itself among teams receiving votes in the ESPN/USA Today and The Sports Network's Division I-AA college football polls.
The Dukes are ranked 34th in the ESPN/USA Today poll right behind Fordham and ahead of Pennsylvania. And in The Sports Newtwork Poll, the Red and Blue are at 38th right behind Harvard and ahead of Fordham. In addition, Duquesne remains the unanimous choice for the third straight week atop The Sports Network's Top Ten I-AA Mid-Major Poll.
Duquesne (6-0, 3-0) hosts St. John's (1-4, 1-2) on Saturday, Oct. 19. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. at Rooney Field (Fox Sports Radio, WBGG-AM 970 locally and on the internet at www.redzonemedia.com).
