Keith Davis joins the Duquesne football staff in 2025 as the defensive backs and cornerbacks coach. He comes to The Bluff after spending the 2024 season at Assumption University and three seasons (2021–23) as defensive coordinator at Colby College.
Davis played two years at Wagner College, earning All-Northeast Athletic Conference honors as a senior and participating in the FCS Senior Bowl. He served as a team captain in both seasons and transferred to Wagner after two years at Youngstown State University.
He began his coaching career at Wagner, guiding linebackers and assisting with special teams from 2012–16, helping the Seahawks win two Northeast Conference championships, including the No. 1 defense in the NEC in 2012. Davis also held coaching positions at Dickinson College, Bates College, and the Dream Bowl, a college football all-star showcase for top FCS, D-II, and D-III players.
A native of Harrisburg, Pa., Davis was a standout at Bishop McDevitt High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in management (finance minor) and a master’s degree in finance (management minor) from Wagner College in 2014.
Davis is married to Duquesne women’s basketball assistant coach Brianna Thomas, who also joins the program for her first season in 2025.
