Pittsburgh, Pa. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams on Wednesday, with the Duquesne swimming and diving program once again earning recognition among the nation's top academic teams.
To receive this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2026 semester.
The Dukes earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors after posting an impressive 3.85 team GPA among 25 student-athletes during the Spring 2026 semester, tying for the fourth-highest GPA in the nation. Under the leadership of head coach
David Sheets, Duquesne is no stranger to the prestigious recognition. The Dukes also earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors this past fall after recording a 3.81 GPA among 25 student-athletes, tied for the second-highest mark in the nation across all NCAA Division I men's and women's swimming and diving programs. Duquesne has been a consistent presence on the Scholar All-America Team list for more than a decade.
For the Spring 2026 semester, the CSCAA recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams. The selections, representing 16,680 student-athletes, were based on outstanding academic achievement during the semester.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
