Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University bowling team, which claimed the 2026 Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Championship, will face Nebraska Friday, April 3, at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes as part of the Pittsburgh Regional. Joining the Dukes and Cornhuskers at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes is No. 3 overall seed Arkansas State, which will face the winner of Saint Vincent and Belmont Abbey. The Bearcats and Crusaders will face off in a single-elimination mega match Thursday, April 2.

Led by head coach Jody Fetterhoff, Duquesne owns an overall record of 62-43 (.590) during the 2025-26 campaign. The Dukes claimed a share of the 2026 NEC regular season championship with Niagara thanks to a 17-7 (.708) conference ledger and rolled through 2026 NEC Championship with a perfect 3-0 mark to claim their first NEC Tournament crown.

Senior Emma Siekierski and junior Maribeth Baker were each named to the 2026 All-NEC First Team, while freshmen Taylor Miller and Jazmyn Scott each garnered a spot on the 2026 All-NEC Rookie Team. Baker, meanwhile, was named as one of 10 finalists for the International Bowling Media Association (IBMA) Collegiate Bowler of the Year, presented by Storm.

The 2026 NCAA Championship features 19 teams, including three single-elimination mega matches that will take place April 2. In addition to Saint Vincent and Belmont Abbey squaring off at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes, Dominican and Alabama A&M will meet in Rochester, N.Y., for the right to take on No. 2 overall seed Vanderbilt, while Carroll (Wisc.) and Fayetteville State will compete in Lansing, Mich., for the opportunity to take on No. 1 overall seed Jacksonville State.

Duquesne is making its third appearance in the NCAA Championship in the last four years as well as its fourth overall. The Dukes are ranked No. 20 in the latest National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 25 poll, which is topped by Jacksonville State. Also serving as a regional host in addition to Pittsburgh, Pa., Rochester, N.Y., and Lansing, Mich., is Arlington, Texas.
