PITTSBURGH – The Duquesne football team earned votes in the 2025 Stats Perform FCS Preseason Top 25 poll, as announced Monday. The Dukes are the only Northeast Conference (NEC) team represented in the poll.

Duquesne enters the 2025 season as back-to-back NEC regular season champions, having claimed the outright title and an FCS playoff bid in 2023 before sharing the crown with Central Connecticut State in 2024. The Dukes finished last season receiving votes and were ranked as high as No. 19 in both the Stats Perform and AFCA polls in Week 12.
The Dukes open the season Aug. 30 against Pitt at Acrisure Stadium. The first of six home games follows on Sept. 6, when Duquesne hosts Lincoln (Pa.) at Rooney Field.
