Swimming & Diving Garners CSCAA Scholar All-America Award

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University swimming and diving team has been honored as a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

To receive this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.

Under the leadership of head coach David Sheets, the Dukes earned All-America honors after posting an impressive 3.79 team GPA among 25 student-athletes this past spring. Duquesne is no stranger to this prestigious recognition, having also been named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team this past fall with a 3.63 GPA among 27 student-athletes. The Dukes have been a consistent presence on the list for over a decade.

For the Spring 2025 semester, the CSCAA named 763 teams from 432 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team. These selections, representing 17,162 student-athletes, were based on exceptional academic performance during the semester.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
