PITTSBURGH – Duquesne University football has added a 12th game to its 2025 schedule, announcing a home matchup against New Haven on Saturday, Sept. 27 at noon on Rooney Field. The program also revealed game times for all six home contests on Friday.
New Haven, which was announced as the newest member of the Northeast Conference (NEC) on May 6, will officially begin its transition to Division I on July 1, 2025. The Chargers are set to begin NEC competition in all sports except football during the 2025-26 academic year, with a full conference football schedule to be determined. As such, this year's game will not count toward NEC standings.
The Dukes' 2025 schedule now includes 12 regular-season games, their highest total since 2014. With New Haven on the slate, Duquesne will host six games at Rooney Field — the most in seven years.
HOME GAME TIMES
All home games will kick off at noon, except for
Homecoming and Family Weekend on Oct. 11 vs. Saint Francis, which will begin at 1 p.m.
