PITTSBURGH – Duquesne University punter
Kyle Romenick has earned an invitation to participate in the 2025 Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp, which begins May 9 in Orchard Park.
Romenick becomes the 20th Duke to receive an NFL camp invite since 2002 and marks the third consecutive year a Duquesne player has earned an opportunity at the next level.
A graduate transfer from Fort Mill, S.C., Romenick set Duquesne's single-season record and led the Northeast Conference (NEC) with a 43.1-yard punting average in 2024, which ranked 19th nationally in the FCS. He was named Second Team All-NEC following the season.
Romenick also tied Duquesne's program record with a 73-yard punt against Robert Morris. Over 42 punts last season, he placed nine inside the 20-yard line and recorded six punts of 50 yards or longer, while allowing just four touchbacks.
Prior to his season with the Dukes, Romenick spent four years at Akron (FBS) and one at Elon (FCS), where he ranked 25th in the FCS in punting average (42.1) in 2023 and threw a 35-yard touchdown pass.
Across his collegiate career, Romenick posted a career punting average of 42.0 yards on 126 attempts.
