Wexford, Pa. – The Duquesne University women's tennis team concluded its regular season on Saturday afternoon, securing a 6-1 victory over Saint Louis during Atlantic 10 action at the Oxford Athletic Club. The Dukes extended its winning streak to five straight victories while improving to 10-7 overall and 5-1 in conference play.

Duquesne collected the early point after taking a pair of doubles matches. Juniors Jasa Roka and Taisia Yakunina secured a 6-4 win over Madison Hill and Angelina Joao at the second slot while freshmen Sofia Lopez-Linares Perez and Denisse Arinez Guilarte captured a 6-2 win over Lizzie Barlow and Elizabeth Choate.

In singles play, the Dukes kept its momentum while winning five of six matches. Sophomore Mila Badics captured a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 over White while senior Kaya Rand collected a 6-2, 6-2 win over Hill at the second slot. At third singles, Roka fell to Duran, 7-5, 6-3 before sophomore Alexandra O'Brien tallied a come-from-behind win over Barlow 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 at the fourth spot. At the final two slots, Yakunina defeated Ferreira 6-1, 6-1 before Lopez-Linares Perez ended the match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Joao at the sixth spot.
