Wexford, Pa. – The Duquesne University men's tennis team concluded its four-match homestand on Sunday, dropping a 5-2 decision to Niagara during non-conference action at the Oxford Athletic Club. With the loss, the Dukes slipped to 2-5 overall this season.
During doubles competition, the Purple Eagles captured a pair of doubles matches to capture the early point. Freshmen

Uvan Patel dropped a 6-4 decision to Trevor Masi and Jose Maria Garcia.
In singles play, Niagara captured four of six matches to take the victory. At the top spot, junior
Keita Duclos fell to Tanner Bedard 6-4, 6-2 as classmate
Alfrendo Vogelaar dropped a 7-6 (3-0), 6-1 to Vid Maric. At third singles, Tuna collected a come-from-behind victory over Kowal, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 before Lana fell to Makkar, 6-4, 7-6 (1-0). Freshman
Tancredi Alfano was downed by Garcia 0-6, 6-4, 2-6 while classmate
Teo Papadopoulos earned a 3-6, 6-4, 10-5 victory over Rohan Srivastava at the final slot.
