Cincinnati, Ohio – The Duquesne University women's tennis team hit the road as it dropped a 4-0 decision at Cincinnati on Friday afternoon at the Western Athletic Club. With the loss, the Dukes fall to 0-3 this season while the Bearcats improve to 4-0.

Taisia Yakunina fell by a 6-1 count to Morgan Pyrz and Isabel Pacheco at the third position. In the second slot, the match was recorded unfished as junior

Mila Badics were battling Victoire de Samucewicz and Sakurako Watanabe.
The Bearcats would capture victories at the one, four, and six spots in singles competition to earn the match victory. Latoni was delt a 6-0, 6-2 defeat by Gruszczynska in the first slot while Badics was delt a 6-1, 6-4 loss to Watanabe in the fourth position. At the sixth singles, Shanahan dropped a 6-3, 6-2 match to Pyrz. Singles two, three, and five recorded unfinished due to Cincinnati securing four points.
