Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University women's tennis team captured its first win of the season, blanking Ashland, 7-0 on Saturday evening at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh. With the win, the Dukes improve to 1-3 this spring.

Ellen Shanahan downed Constanza Arancibia and Ana Penteado 6-2 at the final slot.
The Dukes would complete the sweep after capturing all seven singles matches. Latoni defeated Ana Penteado 6-1, 6-2 at the first slot before Roka captured a 6-1, 6-3 win over Adock in the second position.
