Olean, N.Y. – The Duquesne women's tennis team battled Fordham on Sunday morning, dropping a 6-1 decision, with the match being played at St. Bonaventure University. With the slip, the Dukes fall to 2-4 this season.

Ellen Shanahan dropped a 6-3 decision to Lorraine Bergmann and Demi Jhaveri to conclude doubles play.
The Rams would flip the script in singles competition, sweeping all six matches. Latoni dropped a 5-7, 2-6 match to Alhach before Rand slipped to Hu, 1-6, 0-6 in the first and second slots. At the third singles, Roka fell by a 2-6, 1-6 count to Xintong Zhou before Badics dropped a 7-5, 4-6, 0-6 decision to Fasoula. Yakunina was downed by Franny Shea, 1-6, 7-6 (4-0), 7-10 in the fifth spot while Shanahan fell by a score of 5-8 to Sofie Siem in the sixth position.
