PITTSBURGH – The Duquesne women's tennis team lost a 7-2 decision Sunday afternoon at Carnegie Mellon.
The Tartans defended their home court with a convincing win, taking two of three doubles matches and five of the six singles competitions.

Anastasiia Kotsyuba duo picked up the lone Dukes win in doubles action, 8-6 in the second flight, while
Margot Pessy/
Daniela Latoni forced a tiebreak in the top spot but came up three points short.
Kotsyuba battled out a three-set win in the sixth singles spot for the Red and Blue behind a 10-6 tiebreak in the third frame.
Latoni took the second singles flight to three sets after a 6-3 victory in set two, but a 10-6 score went in favor of the Tartan's Danna Taylor in the deciding set.
Duquesne will wrap up the regular season on Thursday against Saint Louis in Dayton, Ohio. First serve is scheduled for 9 am. The Atlantic 10 Championships are set for April 26-30 in Orlando, Fla.
