OLEAN, N.Y. – The Duquesne University men's tennis team lost a 4-1 decision to Dayton today in a neutral site, Atlantic 10 match in Olean, N.Y.
 
The Flyers captured a pair of 6-4 victories in doubles action at the #2 and #3 spots to take the first point of the day. David Georgadze/Tamirlan Teberikov battled to a 6-6 draw in the top-spot, but the best-of-three was already decided to Dayton.
 
Kaipo Marshall won his sixth straight match, as he came back from a 6-2 opening-set defeat with back-to-back 6-4 wins to take the top singles flight in three sets. The Flyers put the match away with wins at #2, #3, and #6, both #2 and #6 spots went to three sets after Dukes won the openers but they could not hold on. Valentin Vasquez was ahead 7-5 before leaving the fifth spot unfinished.
 
Duquesne has canceled the April 7^th match at Southern Indiana and postponed the April 8^th match against St. Louis with a make-up date to be announced.
