NEWPORT NEWS, VA. - Junior guard Dae Dae Grant (Lorain, Ohio) was named Second Team All-Conference and fellow junior guard Jimmy Clark III (Covington, Ga.) earned a spot on the All-Defensive Team in a vote of Atlantic 10 coaches released by the conference office today.

Grant, Duquesne's leading scorer at 15.2 ppg., has scored in double digits in all but five games this season. The first-year Miami, Ohio transfer's 10 20-point games are the most by a Duke since Micah Mason had 15 in 2016.

Grant ranks second in the A-10 in 3-pointers made per game (2.7) and his .401 (85-of-212) success rate from the arc is sixth-best in the conference. He has hit five or more 3-pointers in a game five times this year.

Clark, a first-year transfer from Northwest Florida College, established himself as one of the most disruptive forces in the conference with a league-high 72 steals, which rank tied for eighth nationally. His 2.32 steals per game average ranks 14th in the nation and is second to A-10 Defensive Player of Year Ace Baldwin's (VCU) league-best 2.46 spg.

Clark, the first Duke to earn All-Defensive Team honors since T.J. McConnell in 2012, has seven games with four or more steals - five of which came in conference play - with a high of six at UMass.

Duquesne (20-11), picked to finish last in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll, takes a sixth seed into this week's 2023 A-10 Championship in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Dukes face the winner of No. 11 seed La Salle vs. No. 14 Rhode Island on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. (USA Network).
