PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne University women's tennis team battled out a 4-2 victory over Saint Francis on Senior Day at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness Center.

Margot Pessy/Daniela Latoni highlighted a 3-0 sweep of doubles action with a dominating 6-1 victory in the top spot, as the Dukes got out in front 1-0 early.

The Red Flash battled back in singles play, but sweeps by Daniela Latoni (6-3, 6-2), Jasa Roka (6-3, 6-2), and Anastasiia Kotsyuba (6-2, 6-2) put the match out of reach in favor of the Red and Blue.

Prior to the match, the Dukes honored seniors Margot Pessy, Anastasiia Kotsyuba, and Natasha Novak for their contributions to the program.

Duquesne (7-6) will be back in conference play on Friday at St. Bonaventure.
