OLEAN, N.Y. – After falling behind 3-1 to start the match, the Duquesne University women's tennis team rallied for three straight wins in singles #4, #5, and #6 to close out the match earning a 4-3 victory over St. Bonaventure on the road Friday.
The Bonnies (8-12, 1-3) were able to claim the doubles point with 6-4 and 6-3 wins in the #1 and #3 positions.

Jasa Roka dominated their opponent in the second doubles flight, 6-1.
Daniela Latoni got Duquesne on the board with a convincing 6-2, 6-1 win in the #2 singles spot, but St. Bonaventure was able to set up match point with three-set victories in singles #1 and #3.
Roka kept the Dukes alive winning the #4 spot in three sets. After a back-and-forth start to the match, where Roka won 7-5 then dropped set two by the same score, she posted a 6-2 victory in the third set for the win.
The momentum from Roka's thrilling match was contagious and Duquesne was able to roar back to claim the match behind sweeps from
Ellen Shanahan (6-4, 6-3) and Kotsyuba (6-2, 6-2) in the #5 and #6 spots.
The Dukes (8-6, 2-1) will be back in action tomorrow taking on Dayton in a neutral site, A-10 contest in Olean, N.Y.
