PITTSBURGH - Duquesne University swimmer
Hanna Everhart (Bloomsburg, Pa. / Bloomsburg Area) was tabbed a First Team CoSIDA Academic All-District® selection for the second-straight year the organization announced on Friday afternoon.
Everhart will now be included on the national Academic All-America ballot which will be voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America and announced next month.
Everhart, who also was voted to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team for a second-straight year, is a 4.0 Physician Assistant Studies major. She is a three-time A-10 Champion in the 200-yard freestyle and was a member of the champion 800-yard freestyle relay team that set a new conference record. She also took fourth place in the 100-yard free and was a member of the bronze medal 400-yard freestyle relay team at A-10 Championships. Everhart also added to the team point total as a member of the fourth-place 200-yard free relay team that established a school record and the fifth place 400-yard medley relay team.
The 2021-22 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.
Everhart was named to the District 2 Team which encompasses schools from Pennsylvania along with Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia.
