TTESVILLE, Va. and MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Duquesne men's track and field team split up and competed at both the Virginia Challenge at the University of Virginia and the Robert Morris Invitational this past weekend.

The Dukes established a pair of school records in Charlottesville.
Collin Ebling took third place in the highly competitive 800-meter run with a school-record time of one minute, 48.60 seconds.

Isaac Elliott took fifth place in the 200-meter dash with a new school-record time of 20.77 seconds. In addition,
Ian Thrush ran a PR time to take 18
th in the 57 competitor field with a time of 21.47 seconds.

At the Robert Morris Invitational in Moon Township,
David Williams won both the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes. He crossed the tape at 21.93 seconds in the 200, before turning in a time of 48.37 seconds in the 400 meters.

Cam Mbalo won the triple jump with a mark of 14.61 meters.

Matthew O'Neill and
Nick Fetzer took the top-two spots in the 800-meter run. O'Neill won the heat with a time of one minute, 56.12 seconds, while Fetzer came in second at one minute, 56.70 seconds.

Ryan Ellison took second place in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.27 seconds.

Zach DeCarmine,
Jacob Wolfrum and Ellison took second, third and fourth, respectively, in the 400-meter hurdles. DeCarmine posted a time of 57.07, Wolfrum turned in a time of 57.86 seconds, while Ellison was right behind at 57.89 seconds.

In the throws,
Roman Lisicky took second in the javelin with a mark of 48.40 meters. Rocco Caprara posted a third-place mark in the discus with a toss of 39.14 meters. Gabriel Sanders led the team in the shot put with a mark of 13.56 meters.

The Dukes will compete in their final tune-up prior to the Atlantic 10 Championships when they travel to the annual Penn Relays starting on Wednesday, April 27.
