PITTSBURGH – With the start of college basketball season quickly approaching, be sure to mark your calendar for Thursday, October 21 for the Duquesne Tip-Off Open Scrimmage at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
The event, set for 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., will give fans a glimpse of what a game day is going to look like for the 2021-22 men's and women's basketball seasons inside our new home.
Fans will be able to get their first look at both the men's and women's teams as they conduct intrasquad scrimmages on the main court. Afterward, players and staff from both squads will meet and greet those in attendance. Seating will be general admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
There will also be an opportunity to take a guided tour of the facility at 7:30 p.m., as well as try out new concession items from Parkhurst Dining.
Members of the ticket office staff will be on-hand to assist fans with purchasing tickets or answer any questions regarding DU's new mobile ticketing system.
We look forward to you helping us make UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse the toughest place to play in the Atlantic 10.
It all starts on Oct. 21!
