PITTSBURGH - Duquesne senior forward Marcus Weathers (Overland Park, Kan.) was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 for the second consecutive season in a vote of conference head coaches, as part of league-wide postseason awards announced today.

Weathers, who led the Dukes in scoring for the second-straight year at 15.3 ppg., is the first Duke to earn back-to-back All-10 honors since Damian Saunders was a first team pick in 2010 and second team choice in 2011.

The 6-5 forward scored in double-digits in 13 of 14 Atlantic 10 games on his way to finishing seventh in scoring (16.3 ppg.) and fifth in rebounding (7.7 rpg.) in conference play only.

The third-year Miami, Ohio transfer had four double-doubles in A-10 regular season play and added a fifth in an Atlantic 10 Championship win over Richmond.

Weathers finished the season with 1,324 career points, including 1,014 in 79 games at Duquesne. His .514 career field goal percentage ranks ninth on DU's all-time list.
