PITTSBURGH - Junior forward Marcus Weathers, who was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 by the conference's coaches last week, earned a Second Team spot on the National Basketball Coaches Association Division I All-District 4 team it was announced today.

Weathers, the leading scorer (14.3 ppg.) and rebounder (8.1 rpg.) for the 21-9 Dukes, is the first Duquesne player to earn NABC All-District honors since Bill Clark (First Team) and Damian Saunders (Second Team) were both recognized in 2011.

The 6-5 junior, who finished 12th in the A-10 in scoring and 6th in rebounding, led the league in fouls drawn per 40 minutes in conference play at 6.2 per game. His 18 traditional three-point plays were the most since Aaron Jackson, a First Team All-NABC All-District pick in 2009, had 20 that same year.

Weathers also led the Dukes in scoring a team-high 13 times and in rebounding a team-most 15 times.

The second-year Miami, Ohio transfer completed his junior season with a team-high 1,048 career points.
