GENEVA, Ohio - The Duquesne women's swimming and diving team seeks its third straight Atlantic 10 title when the Dukes travel to SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio for the A-10 Championship meet on Wednesday, Feb. 19 through Saturday, Feb. 22. Each championship meet session will stream live on ESPN+ with direct links provided below.
Duquesne has captured each of the last two titles for the program's first two conference championships in program history. The Dukes registered a school-record 580.5 at last season's championship meet, owning the lead after each of the four days of competition at SPIRE. Duquesne took home 11 medals, recording points on the diving side for the first time in over 20 years. Head coach
David Sheets was named the A-10 Women's Swimming Coach of the Year for the second season in a row and third time overall.
Now junior
Emma Brinton (Landenberg, Pa. / Avon Grove) posted 11 medal-winning performances at last season's meet. Sophomore
Audrey Steen (San Pedro, Calif. / San Pedro) was the second Dukes swimmer to garner A-10 Most Outstanding Rookie Performer honors in 2019 after Brinton won the award in 2018.
Senior
Lauren Devorace (Rocky River, Ohio / Rocky River) returns for Duquesne after taking home bronze in the 500-yard freestyle and being part of the Dukes' gold medal-winning 800-yard free relay team. Devorace is one of seven seniors for Duquesne along with

Freshman diver
Sidney O'Donnell (Solon, Ohio / Solon) has been named A-10 Rookie of the Week on two occasions this season, becoming the fifth Duke to earn the league's weekly rookie award twice in the same season over the last six years. O'Donnell qualified for the 2020 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships at West Virginia with her showing at the Western Pennsylvania Invitational hosted by Pitt at Trees Pool, posting scores of 279.75 on the 1-meter boards and 287.45 on the 3-meter dive to pace the Dukes. She notched new school records with those figures.
Duquesne was selected as preseason co-favorites in the A-10 Preseason Coaches' Poll along with George Washington. Fordham was picked to finish third followed by Richmond fourth and UMass fifth.
