COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Duquesne swimming and diving team was recognized as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the 2019 fall semester, the organization announced on Wednesday. The CSCAA recognizes teams achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the semester.
The two-time defending Atlantic 10 champion Dukes recorded a 3.50 grade point average for the fall term, second-highest among A-10 teams. Additionally, 59 percent of Dukes registered a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester while 84 percent achieved a 3.0 or better.
The CSCAA selected a record 762 men's and women's programs from 480 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2019 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2019 grade point averages and represent 17,685 student-athletes.
