Sidney O'Donnell (Solon, Ohio / Solon) garnered Atlantic 10 Women's Swimming and Diving Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season for her performance at the Western Pennsylvania Invitational, conference officials announced on Tuesday afternoon.
O'Donnell qualified for the 2020 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships with her showing at the meet hosted by Pitt at Trees Pool, posting scores of 279.75 on the 1-meter boards and 287.45 on the 3-meter dive to pace the Dukes . She notched new school records with those figures.
The qualifying standards for the Zone Championship are 265 on the 1-meter and 280 for the 3-meter and is set to take place at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park hosted by West Virginia University on March 9-11.
O'Donnell earns her second Rookie of the Week award this season, as Duquesne has now had a two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week honoree in five of the last six seasons: 2014-15: Kayla Owens, 2015-16:

O'Donnell and the Dukes are back in action this weekend in the final duals of the season in a tri-meet at Buffalo against the host Bulls and Akron. The action gets underway at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m.
