DAVIDSON, N.C. – In the first Atlantic 10 road contest of the season, the Duquesne women's soccer team (3-3-2) could not comeback from an early deficit, falling 2-0 to Davidson (7-3-1) on Thursday night at Alumni Stadium.

Lexy Kendro recorded three shots on goals for Duquesne, while reigning A-10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Deena DeBaldo also recorded a shot on goal. In net,
Megan Virgin made three saves for the Dukes on the night.

The Dukes return to action Sunday afternoon, when Duquesne takes on La Salle in Philadelphia. The game is slated to start at 1:00 p.m.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wildcats took an early lead in the third minute, when Cameron France connected on a one touch-pass from Hailey Breaemer.
- The game would remain scoreless for over 80 minutes, until Keeley Cooper converted a long shot, which went over the head of the Duquesne goalkeeper.
- Davidson led 7-5 on shots, while each team registered five shots on goal.
- The Dukes held a significant advantage in corners, leading 7-1.
