PITTSBURGH – The Duquesne volleyball team (2-5) heads to the City of Brotherly Love this weekend to take on Chicago State (3-4), Penn (2-1) and St. Francis Brooklyn (3-3) at the Valley Forge Sports Invitational. The Dukes face Chicago State (3:30 p.m.) and tournament host Penn (7:00 p.m.) on Friday, before wrapping up the invitational at the Palestra against St. Francis Brooklyn at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

THE SERIES
- The Dukes are 2-0 against Chicago State all-time, earning a pair of sweeps over the Cougars in 2008 and 2010. Â Â
- The Dukes will make its second-ever trip to the Palestra, with the first meeting coming on September 9, 1994. The Quakers earned a 3-1 victory in that contest. Duquesne and Penn also met at the Jefferson Cup on campus of the University of Virginia in 2004. Penn earned a 3-1 win in that matchup.
- The meeting with St. Francis Brooklyn will be the first against the Terriers in program history.

- St. Francis Brooklyn began the campaign with three wins over NJIT, Saint Peter's and Maryland Eastern Shore on its home court at the Terrier Classic, but fell in all three matches it played last weekend at the Bucknell Classic against Siena, Hampton and Bucknell.
