Dukes Add Six Newcomers for 2026 Campaign

Opperman bolsters 2026 roster with five Freshmen and one transfer

Pittsburgh, Pa. – Duquesne head volleyball coach Steve Opperman announced the addition of six student-athletes on Wednesday as the Dukes finalized their roster for the 2026 season. The incoming class features five freshmen and one transfer, adding a blend of championship experience, leadership, and talent to the program.

Joining the Red and Blue this fall are Delaney McIntosh, Simone Searles, Keely McMahon-Regan, Charlotte Arrington, Londyn Stone, and Maddie Bush.

BACK ON THE BLUFF
The Dukes return nine players from last season's squad, including four starters and an All-Conference honoree. Leading the returners is Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference selection Emersen Schrom, who put together one of the most prolific sophomore seasons in program history. Schrom ranked 10th nationally with 604.5 total points and 20th in NCAA Division I with 5.04 points per set. She became the first player in Duquesne history to earn Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors four times in a single season and shattered the program's single-season kills record with 532. Also returning are seniors Chloe Wilmot and Jordan Robertson. Wilmot continued to establish herself as one of the nation's premier setters, ranking eighth in NCAA Division I with 1,277 total assists. She reached two significant career milestones during the season, becoming just the eighth player in program history to surpass 2,500 career assists while recording her second 1,000-assist campaign. Robertson returns to the Bluff after anchoring the middle for the Dukes. She led the team and ranked fifth in the Atlantic 10 with 1.12 blocks per set, pacing Duquesne in blocks on 14 occasions. Offensively, Robertson ranked third in the conference with a .332 hitting percentage and totaled 134 kills, the fifth-highest mark on the team.

DELANEY McINTOSH | Madison, Wis. | Colorado State | Libero/Defensive Specialist
A veteran defensive specialist, McIntosh comes to the Bluff after spending four seasons at Colorado State. She appeared in 53 matches during her career with the Rams, including 29 of 30 contests as a redshirt junior in 2025 while serving as a team captain. Last season, she totaled 25 service aces, 83 digs and 12 assists, recording season highs of three aces on two occasions and nine digs against Colorado. She also delivered a pair of aces and eight digs in a matchup with the Buffaloes and added two aces and five digs against Colgate. As a redshirt sophomore in 2024, she played in 83 sets across 24 matches, finishing with 36 digs, 15 service aces and 11 assists while posting a season-high 11 digs against Michigan State and four aces versus Northern Colorado. She saw action in five matches as a redshirt freshman in 2023, contributing four digs.

SIMONE SEARLES | Marietta, Ga. | Right Side Hitter
A highly accomplished outside hitter from Walton High School, Searles helped lead the Raiders to the Georgia Class 6A State Championship during her senior season under head coach Ashley Jones. She was a key contributor to four consecutive Region Championships from 2022-25 and helped Walton reach the state finals in 2023 while advancing to the Final Four in both 2022 and 2024. Following a standout senior campaign, she was named the 2025 Class 6A Player of the Year and earned Region 5 Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season after also claiming the award in 2024. She was selected as a Class 6A First Team All-State performer as a junior and earned team MVP honors in both 2024 and 2025. In addition, she was recognized with the 2025 Raider Pride Award. Away from the court, Searles was active in Fellowship of Christian Athletes as an officer, Regal Raiders and Threads of Kindness, while also earning Honor Roll recognition throughout her high school career.

KEELY McMAHON-REGAN | Wexford, Pa. | Setter
A standout student-athlete from North Allegheny High School, McMahon-Regan helped guide the Tigers to three consecutive PIAA Class 4A State Championships from 2022-24 and back-to-back WPIAL titles in 2023 and 2024 under head coach Russ Hoburg. During her senior season, she earned 4A All-Section First Team honors, was named to the 4A All-WPIAL Third Team and garnered Big 56 Second Team recognition. She was also selected as a Wright Automotive Player of the Game three times in 2025. Off the court, McMahon-Regan excelled academically, earning the North Allegheny Fall Volleyball Scholar-Athlete Award three times and the Spring Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete Award once while maintaining High Honor Roll status throughout her high school career. She also served as Tiger Thon Captain and competed for Pittsburgh Elite at the club level.

CHARLOTTE ARRINGTON | Leesburg, Va. | Outside Hitter
A standout performer at Loudoun County High School, Arrington helped lead the Captains to a 2025 District Championship and a VHSL Class 4 State Runner-Up finish under head coach Sarah Mozeyko, posting a 16-6 overall record. She was also a key member of back-to-back VHSL Region 4C Championship teams in 2024 and 2025, helping the program secure its 18th and 19th regional titles. Following a stellar senior campaign, Arrington earned Catoctin District Player of the Year honors while garnering VHSL Class 4 First Team All-State, First Team All-Catoctin District and First Team All-LoCo recognition. She also received honorable mention accolades on the 2025 Washington Post All-Met Team. As a junior, she earned Second Team All-Catoctin District honors, further highlighting her impact on one of Virginia's top programs.

LONDYN STONE | Avon, Ohio | Outside Hitter
A standout performer at Avon High School, Stone capped her career by helping lead the Eagles to a 27-1 record and the OHSAA Division II State Championship during her senior season under head coach Kara Coffman. Following her championship campaign, she was named Lorain County Miss Volleyball, Lorain County Player of the Year and Southwestern Conference MVP in 2025. Stone earned First Team All-Ohio honors as both a junior and senior after collecting Second Team All-Ohio recognition as a sophomore. She was also a three-time First Team All-District and First Team All-Conference selection, establishing herself as one of the top players in the state throughout her career. At the club level, Stone competed for the Cleveland Volleyball Company (CVC).

MADDIE BUSH | Downingtown, Pa. | Middle Blocker
A four-year varsity letterwinner at Villa Maria Academy, Bush enjoyed a decorated high school career under head coach Burgess Hoff. She helped lead the Hurricanes to back-to-back league championships in 2022 and 2023 while also contributing to runner-up finishes during those seasons. Bush earned All-State honors in 2024 and was named to the District 10 Region 6 First Team in both 2024 and 2025. Serving as a team captain during her senior campaign, she provided strong leadership on and off the court. In the classroom, Bush was a member of the Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Peer Ministry, and the Annenberg Symposium. She also competed at the club level for East Coast Power.
