PITTSBURGH – Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh are teaming up to bring college volleyball to PPG Paints Arena for the first time as part of the ChampYinz Volleyball Invitational on Sept. 6-7. The two-day event includes a pair of matches at the home of the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, Sept. 6 when Duquesne faces Green Bay at 5:30 p.m. followed by Pitt vs. Ohio State at 8:00 p.m.

The event concludes with four Saturday matches at Pitt's Fitzgerald Field House.

Day one of the event serves as a precursor to the 2019 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship which will be hosted by Duquesne University, SportsPITTSBURGH and PPG Paints Arena on Dec. 19 & 21.

Tickets for each day of the ChampYinz Volleyball Invitational are $10 day of game and $8 if purchased in advance. Group tickets (15 or more) are also available at $5 each. Prices are the same for both venues, but a separate ticket is required for admission per venue per day. Tickets for both PPG Paints Arena and Fitzgerald Field House may be ordered below:
